The former WWE United States Champion has slowly won fans over with his unique attitude and demeanor on Monday Nights. Riddle has been particularly entertaining in his unique tag team with legendary WWE Superstar Randy Orton.

Known as R-K-Bro, the duo have become one of the most popular tag teams on the WWE roster. This is despite Randy Orton dropping Riddle with an RKO during this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.

Riddle recently sat down with Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Riju Dasgupta to discuss various topics in the world of WWE and his current professional wrestling career.

#5 Riddle reveals what it was like to share the ring with John Cena on WWE Monday Night RAW

John Cena surprised fans when he made his long-awaited WWE return at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view in July.

The following night on Monday Night RAW, John Cena returned to the red brand for the first time in several years. After cutting a promo, Cena was joined in the ring by Riddle. The two WWE stars then conducted a “bro-off” before Riddle competed in his scheduled match on RAW.

#3 Riddle on if Conor McGregor would transition well into a WWE Superstar

WWE Superstar Riddle is one of a select few people who have successfully transitioned from the UFC to WWE.

One UFC fighter constantly linked with WWE is former UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor. When asked how The Notorious One would fare in WWE, Riddle admitted that despite his smaller stature, McGregor knows how to sell tickets and events:

Cole’s WWE contract reportedly expires after SummerSlam later this month, with a mystery surrounding his future. Riddle was asked how he felt Cole would fare on the main roster.

#1 Riddle recalls explaining his character to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon

WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon is crucial to the success of any WWE Superstar.

Despite his age, McMahon is just as involved in every single aspect of the WWE business as he was when he purchased the company from his father in the 1980s.

Therefore, it has been said that for a WWE Superstar to succeed, they must develop and create a personal relationship with Vince McMahon.

During his Sportskeeda interview, Riddle revealed that the WWE chairman wasn’t initially sold on Riddle as a major star on the main roster. The former United States Champion stated that he had to explain his character to the WWE Chairman:
